   For the most part, this class has been a refresher in electrical work, which is great because when one goes a long time without the hands on, you have a tendency to forget some things.

   As for some of the things I've learned so far:

• Diodes only allow current to flow one way.
• Diodes are a check valve and surpress inductive kick.
• Interesting fact about the silver band on a diode indicates direction of current.
